If there were ever words I’ve needed to say to my past self, these words would be it!

This is a long read, I won’t be offended if you scroll through to the credits!

Confession time, you lucky lurker you! After I was diagnosed ‘again’ and put back on dialysis in 2017, the trajectory of my life as a mother and caregiver, drastically changed. Everything centered around the journey back  getting listed for a transplant.

In 2018, it was taking me at least two days to recover, only to go through treatment again. I made the decision to take a step back from SL. None of my children were living at home during that time, and I was working for city by day while blogging in my spare time.

Something had to give, right?! Fast forward to 2021, fate it seems is not without a sense of humor! I became a shut-in lol. And these walls messed royally with my mind! I started a small crafting business in 2019, going to craft fairs, selling my wares (hey that rhymed!), so when the shutdowns started, all my bookings were cancelled.

One can only binge Netflix for so long, right??! That bottled up creative energy had to go somewhere.

Thankfully, ya’ll welcomed me back with no questions, no qualms, no drama, just LOVE! And I am so appreciative of that! Of youuuu! I have a bit more control over the time I spend in-world now, thanks to my SL family & friends. They are keeping me accountable, as good friends should 😀
