Once upon a conundrum, the seasons came to a standstill and whispered amongst themselves.

“Why are they in a hurry to hurry in the busy-ness of their business?”, asked the masked Winter. “And why must they worry about the nothing of frivolousness?”, wondered the winsome Autumn.

Their heads low, thinking, pondering, at the sight of their beloveds scampering about the warm earth, ne’er knowing what race is it they have been running… for.

The saucy sassy Summer, in all her harmonious splendor, smiles a knowing smile to the simpering, cheeky Spring, whose flowering mane, sways in the fully risen sun…shine.

They stand in bonded unison, to bid adieu to the shop proprietor, most thankful for their cool respite, and farewells to each other, as another day sets to night.

“I do say, fair Spring, should we share our pre-occupation? Shall we give insight, to Winter & Autumn, of our purposeful intention?” whispered Summer.

A gentle, faint mist surrounds them all, embracing their wonderment, Winter and Fall..
Together they leave, these diligent seasons, as Spring begins to speak of their million little reasons.
